Press-Release

BEDFORD, N.H. – With the momentum of 2025 behind it, NH Life Sciences (NHLS) is accelerating into the new year with new members and new goals focused on the same mission of advancing the life sciences in the Granite State.

Joining them in this mission are new members United Therapeutics, working on organ manufacturing in Manchester; Advanced Solutions Life Sciences, which operates a laboratory in Manchester for developing solutions at the intersection of the biomedical and biotechnology sciences; Northern Analytical Labs, specializing in testing for trace elements in solid materials out of its lab in Londonderry; Immundiagnostik, which has been developing diagnostic tests in Manchester since 2018; and Metabolic Solutions, based in Nashua, specializing in stable isotope tracer analysis. NHLS is also pleased to welcome Franklin Pierce University and the New Hampshire Tech Alliance (NHTA), to its nonprofit and academic memberships. Franklin Pierce continues to bolster its life science offerings to prepare NH’s workforce for careers in the industry, and NHTA is the statewide technology association dedicated to supporting companies’ growth and entrepreneurship.

As it continues to build industry connections, NHLS’s membership has grown to over 60 partner businesses and organizations.

“NHLS is proud of the community we've built and grateful for all the relationships and partnerships that have developed," said President Andrea Hechavarria. “We welcome these new members bringing expertise and passion to our organization, which will further help us achieve our mission to advance the life sciences across the Granite State.” United Therapeutics Corporation, founded in Maryland, is focused on manufacturing organs to treat chronic diseases. Its New Hampshire location employs more than 60 scientists and other professionals who are seeking ways to make organ alternatives for transplant at an 80,000-square-foot research and development center in Manchester’s Millyard. Its work is representative of the cutting-edge innovations New Hampshire is capable of fostering, manufacturing and scaling.

NHLS plans to scale in 2026 with the creation of additional committees, increasing memberships, deepening partnerships and pushing for policies that incentivize doing life science in New Hampshire.

Four new board-level committees are designed to bring industry leaders and partners together to find solutions to shared obstacles and find opportunities. The membership committee will work on supporting growth, engagement and membership benefits. The workforce committee will address the talent development pipeline. A program and events committee will expand NHLS highly-valued and impactful opportunities to learn, network and connect. A government affairs committee will identify opportunities to support or challenge policy initiatives that will impact the life sciences industry.

The development of these committees aims to support NHLS’s goals for the upcoming year: increasing membership and programmatic reach; deepening partnerships with academic and government; fostering innovation, entrepreneurship and industry growth; and expanding Industry awareness across the region to recruit top talent and companies to the Granite State.

With support from its existing and recently added members, NHLS is launching into 2026 with a vision for collaboration, growth, advocacy and innovation in the Granite State’s life sciences industry.
