Lehnen Industrial Services, a custom machinery design and engineering firm based in Keene, has signed on as the 2026 New Hampshire Life Sciences (NHLS) premier sponsor, the highest and most collaborative level of annual sponsorship the industry group offers.
“While Lehnen Industrial Services has been involved as an associate member since 2025, this increased level of sponsorship demonstrates their dedication to supporting the growth of the life sciences industry in New Hampshire,” says NHLS President Andrea Hechavarria.
With this commitment, Lehnen is positioning itself at the center of innovation and helping drive impact and growth across the state’s life sciences community.
As a premier sponsor, Lehnen is now the presenting sponsor for NHLS’s flagship annual event, Live Free Life Sciences, in November. It will have year-round visibility at other programs, participate in thought-leadership and networking events and have unique opportunities to highlight how it is helping address industry concerns. This sponsorship demonstrates confidence in New Hampshire’s emergence as a nationally recognized life sciences hub.
Supporting companies in life science is the core of our business, and it’s exciting to see how the industry is growing in New Hampshire,” says CEO Peter Lehnen. “We are pleased to help foster that growth by partnering with NHLS.”
For NHLS, this premier sponsorship is just the latest indication of the organization’s growth since 2023. It has nearly 70 members, including Founder-level companies Novocure, Novo Nordisk, Timberline Construction, MilliporeSigma and Lonza, that are investing and connecting the life sciences ecosystem in New Hampshire.
These partnerships help NHLS continue workforce, advocacy and collaboration initiatives. Lehnen Industrial Services, which creates production machinery for multiple life sciences manufacturers, represents the advanced manufacturing and automation expertise required for life sciences growth.
Founded in 2001 by Peter Lehnen, Lehnen Industrial Services designs and builds custom manufacturing and testing machinery to meet the rigorous standards required to produce critical components safely and efficiently. Its engineering team specializes in compact, clean-room compatible systems and has extensive documentation, validation and qualification expertise.
Beyond its contributions to manufacturing, it recently developed Lehnen Lab, a collaborative space used for experimentation, proof of concept, training and workforce development. Lehnen Lab’s partner companies contribute components and expertise for customers to be able to prototype and test automation concepts for free. It also provides space for training industry professionals and students from Keene State College, Cheshire Career Center and other schools.
NHLS and Lehnen have similar goals for industry growth, workforce development and increased connection within the life sciences ecosystem.
As NHLS works to connect, convene, and facilitate the advancement of the life sciences industry in the Granite State through member programs and events, policy advocacy, industry intelligence, and education, it will now have the support and backing of Lehnen Industrial Services as a premier sponsor.
